Who Am I? Why Am I Here?
Hello, and welcome to Next Question… Thank you for stopping by.
This blog will serve as a record of my occasional thoughts on general subjects like history, politics and international relations. I plan to explore difficult questions like “What are the responsibilities of an American citizen?”, but I’ll also deal with arguably more trivial matters like “Is Miguel Tejada a better baseball player than Alex Rodriguez?”
Ultimately I hope that this blog becomes a forum for YOU, the readers, to debate these questions. (For example, which of the two questions above is more difficult to answer? I bet that depends on YOUR background and perspective!)
So let’s get started. First, I’m interested in your thoughts on the title of my blog.
- QUESTION: What does the phrase “Next question…” mean to you? What images does it conjure in your mind?
- BONUS: Who uttered the famous phrase in the title above? (Please provide the name and the context).

you're hott!
As much as it pains me to say it, a great American by the name of Admiral James Stockdale uttered those infamous words. Words that could not hold a candle to those uttered by the other vice presidential candidates (Quayle and Gore) in the famous 1992 debate. The whole Perot/Stockdale pairing was indeed a spectacle and interesting blunder!
Why the interest in the Reform Party?

Perhaps a better quote to seek the origin of is:
"When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads."
